I do this every couple weeks with a paycheck. Bargain hunting for games, DVDs and CDs. Sometimes i find something awesome, sometimes i go out with something in mind. Often, i find awesome stuff after i’ve spent a lot of money already. It certainly does burn that hole.

This strip is based on semi-realistic events. My mate Effa did have a birthday somewhat recently, and that is what i got him (one of the better games to come out in the last couple years in my opinion).I do think about stuff like this a lot of the time. I spend a lot of time in my head. Introspective and introverted is how i like to put it. Of course, we couldn’t have Dave thinking deep thoughts could we.

What appears before you is the 50th comic strip. Amazing since the site has once again stopped updating. I’m now trying new things to make the comic easier so i can get them out on time. Today’s is one such experiment. A black & white comic. What do you think of it? I’m getting used to inking with a brushpen but man i love what they do. It keeps the same energy as my pencils have. That’s the main problem with inking. You lose pencil energy. You artists know what i’m talking about.

Oh yes, and this comic has a reference to “The Neverending Story” if you haven’t figured it out already. I watched it on DVD the other night for the first time since i was 4 years old. Usually when you watch stuff you remember from your childhood, you can be crushed. You’ve worked up this idealized memory of what you’re watching, and when you watch it again as an adult, you find out it’s horrid.

Luckily with this movie, it held up pretty well 20 years later. A few plot holes but a wonderful fantasy world and a decent underlying message. I’ve never seen the sequels and i’ve been told i should keep it that way.

Yeah, i know this strip is a bit cheaty. I didn’t exactly do the best job on the black either, but i really like the gag. Also, the first panel cracks me up. Enjoy!

Indecisiveness for the win!

Not that kind either. I really went off the wall with this one. It cracked me up drawing it though, and that’s always a good thing!

So we got a spiffy new site now. Same comic though. It looks a lot nicer with this fancy backdrop though. Tell your friends!

Man, pulling an all nighter for a paper sucks. I never want to do that again. It amazes me that even with your veins pumped with caffeine, sleep can come quickly when you’re buggered.

Ok, so i’ve been on un-announced hiatus for over a month. I’ve got a new site now. It’s spiffy and new and has all these neat features. The comic itself will return on July 31st. Have a look round and enjoy the new comics at the end of the month.

And i feel fiiiiiiiine!

I forgot where i heard about the number of the beast not actually being 666, but it was great for the purposes of a joke.

I don’t know what it is about me. I must be easily memorable.
